Are you looking to complement your existing skincare regimen with a powerful laser treatment to help you maintain beautiful skin year-round?

Have you tried other invasive laser treatments in the past but want a solution with less downtime and discomfort and visible results that last?

MOXI may be right for you!

  • Your post-care regimen is simple: Wear a moisturizing physical sunscreen and stay out of the sun. You may wear makeup 24 hours after treatment.

The day after MOXI, your skin may appear red, and, depending on your level of treatment, you may see the small micro dots called MENDs (microscopic epidermal necrotic debris) where the laser was applied. As the microzones heal, they will darken and feel rough. Between days 3 and 5, the mends will slough off, revealing new skin beneath.

Wash your skin morning and night with a gentle cleanser. Keep your skin moisturized and apply your favorite physical barrier sunscreen.

Lumecca IPL

Lumecca is a breakthrough IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) treatment that effectively targets vascular and pigmented lesions, sun damage, and rosacea. With its powerful light technology, Lumecca delivers noticeable improvements in skin clarity, texture, and tone in fewer sessions than traditional IPL treatments

Lumecca IPL vs. BBL

Both Lumecca IPL and BBL are advanced light-based treatments designed to improve skin tone and texture, but they have some key differences:

Lumecca IPL: Known for its powerful results in fewer sessions, Lumecca IPL is highly effective at treating sun damage, vascular lesions, pigmentation, and rosacea. It uses high peak power and optimized wavelengths to deliver rapid skin clarity improvements.

BBL (BroadBand Light): Offers more customizable settings and can target a broader range of skin concerns, including acne and deeper pigmentation. BBL is also known for its ability to stimulate collagen production, making it ideal for long-term skin health and rejuvenation.

  • Lumecca is a breakthrough intense pulsed light (IPL) that delivers up to 3x more energy in the 500-600 nanometer range to treat vascular lesions and unwanted pigmentation. It allows clinicians to treat a variety of lesions with fewer sessions.

  • As one of the main elements of the body, collagen is a protein that makes up a large portion your your bones, skin, hair, muscles, tendons, and ligaments. As we age, our bodies produce less and less of this important protein. By stimulating collagen production, fine lines, pores, and wrinkles dramatically diminish.

Hyperpigmentation is caused by damaged or unhealthy melanin cells that produce too much melanin, which can clump up and cause the area to appear darker than the surrounding skin. Lumecca can get rid of unwanted pigment by bringing it to the surface where it will either flake off or absorb into the body in the days following the treatment.

    Key Benefits:

    - High efficiency of treatment due to high peak power and optimized output.

    - Stellar photo rejuvenation results in 1 or 2 treatments for most patients compared to 4-6 treatments with standard IPLs.

    - Reduced treatment time due to being able to cover a larger area with a high pulse repetition rate.

    - Strong sapphire cooling tip results in better treatment comfort.

Lumecca is superior to other IPLs because:

    - Ability to treat both light & dark skin

    - Wider range of treatment (facial pigmentation, superficial vessels, skin texture, photo damage, etc.

    - Maximum safety & comfort

    - Shorter treatment time & smaller number of sessions

  • Lumecca emits electromagnetic radiation at the wavelength of 500-600 nanometers, which is the same as the range of visible light. The light enters the skin which is then absorbed by the hyperpigmented areas and pulls the pigmentation up to the surface of the skin. Chromophores are the molecule that reacts with light wavelengths and is what gives the different pigments their color. The chromophore absorbs the light and heats up, which causes the pigment to either reabsorb into the body or flake off, which removes it from the skin over a couple of weeks.

  • Lumecca can be used on all areas of the body, but common treatment areas are those that are regularly exposed to sunlight, such as the face, neck, décolletage, legs, hands, & arms.

It is recommended to avoid direct & excessive sun exposure and & tanning for one month prior to treatment.

During treatment, you may feel a slight sensation similar to being snapped by a small rubber band or a heated tingle. This is alleviated by the sapphire cooling tip, making it much more comfortable. Slight warming and redness of the skin after treatment is normal and usually subsides within an hour. Sessions are quite fast, usually around 30 minutes per treatment.

  • Over the first 1-2 days following treatment, you may see a darkening of pigmented spots. In the following week, the pigmented areas begin to flake off and reveal an even skin tone. After treating vascular lesions, you may notice the vein disappear or a color change which dissapates after a few days.

How many sessions are needed? This depends on the severity of skin damage, skin type, or treatment type (vascular or sun damage). Improved appearance can be visible after only one treatment but multiple sessions provide even better results.

Side effects are rare and any skin reactions usually goes away within a few hours. Patients may notice they are sensitive to sunlight after treatment, so it is recommended to avoid direct sunlight and tanning.
