Non-Surgical Facelift with Threads
Silhouette Instalift is a state of the art suspension suture that creates immediate facial lifting and volumization without the downtime and risk of a traditional facelift surgery. Instalift Is the only FDA-approved absorbable suture for the mid-face. This in-office procedure subtly lifts and smooths the jowls and jawline without the need for general anesthesia or cutting the skin. However unlike other "threads" on the market, with Instalift the skin is elevated and fixated using a revolutionary combination of traditional surgical suture material enhanced with biostimulatory cones that encourage the formation of Type I and Type III collagen.
How exactly does the Instalift Treatment work?
Instalift is performed by inserting an absorbable thread into the face. There is little to no discomfort with this procedure. The thread is made out of polylactic acid, which means it will be completely absorbed by the body. The suture itself has bidirectional cones on the thread, so when inserted the cones point in opposing directions. The cones are what makes Instalift stand out from other threads. They act to anchor or catch the tissue and 'lifts' the skin with Microsuspension Technology.
The outcome Is an Immediate lift of the tissue and softening of nasolabial folds, marionette and jowls. Then, as the thread and cones are absorbed collagen Is produced naturally by your body leading to lasting results that continue to Improve over time. Results may last up to two years.
Will I still need Dermal Fillers?
While dermal fillers may still be Indicated for the replacement of age-related or weight-reduction volume loss when used In conjunction with Instalift we may be able to use less dermal fillers.

What can I expect Before, during and after the treatment?
Leading up to the procedure, unless prescribed by your provider and discussed with your NurturHer provider, please refrain from using aspirin, herbal supplements or vitamin E to reduce the risk of bleeding and bruising, which can lead to excess swelling.
Although normal swelling may occur for 2-4, most clients may return to work that day If desired. You may prefer to schedule the procedure for a Friday, taking the weekend to recover as we will recommend no makeup for 24 hours.
You will have a local anesthetic injected into the tissue just beneath your skin to numb and decrease bruising. Once the sutures have been inserted, your Nurse Practitioner will position them precisely where they need to be to achieve the lift you desire.
After the treatment recovery is fairly easy. Expect soreness and swelling to last two to three days. We recommend ice and acetaminophen for any discomfort. For 7 days post procedure, you should refrain from strenuous activity and large facial movements. You will be scheduled for a follow-up at 14 days and 30 days post treatment.
